Jonnie & Suann
My fashionista aunts and the original cheerleaders for Rock Candy. They were the first to see my collection, when there were no dreams of grandeur or a company name for that matter. They oohed and awed and encouraged me, but much more, they've proudly worn their Rock Candy with endless devotion, which has given me the courage to step out on my own...away from corporate America...and into entrepreneurship. This is the place it all began. Thank you Dave, Suann, Jonnie, Kelly, Kim, Tim, Bobby & Teri!! I think the way the story went was Kim said to Suann..."have Shanny set up a table on the front porch and see how it goes". Jonnie called me with her enthusiastic joy beaming through the phone to suggest I set up for Christmas at Norman's...who was I to argue? Christmas 2007 was the proof I needed to keep going. By February 2008 I was incorporated and had already done several "shows" at Norman's. All of the owners have been loyal patrons to Rock Candy and really have helped launch what I never could have dreamed up two and a half years ago! FARMERS ROCK!! www.normanbrothers.com

My cousin, Jonnie's daughter and the original photographer extraordinaire for Rock Candy. She's a painter, artist, photographer, mentor at her church and an all around good egg! She thinks, dreams and plays in color every day, just like me. Look around this site, in the headers and in the Eye Candy and you will see her handy work. She effortlessly captured the beauty of the flawless models and gave life to the jewelry pieces hanging on their necks. Jackie & Shelley
Jackie is Mom and Shelley is my kid sister. Although they live in Atlanta, they have been a HUGE support and great additions to the cheering squad. They fly in to help me with art festivals, host home parties and network until the cows come home (Southern for a whole lot). They are walking Rock Candy billboards and have created a 'following' of addicts in Atlanta all by themselves! Mom heads downtown Atlanta to the Mart often and has gotten to know all of my vendors personally...they all call her "that Miami girl's Mom"...it's ok, she answer's to that too. A gigantic THANKS goes out to Mom for helping me move my life and my business into a new home in February...it was a very BIG deal. Sometimes thank you sounds so lame...and definitely in this case it does.

John & Sean
John is Pops & Sean is my brother Bean. (I hope Sean never looks this far into my website, or I'm toast!..it's been the name I call him since I was three, he's used to it but probably doesn't want all the hot girls that read this site to know that little factoid!).

Dad jumped in very early on to source stones and pearls for me from his stops in China/Asia...he even procured some great Turquoise for me on his anniversary trip with RoseAnne in Greece. Being a pilot, my dad is very detail oriented...naturally it didn't take him long to decipher good quality pearls and stones from the lot that weren't. Box after box he sent with more treasures than the last. Both Sean and Dad assist me how ever they can and have been awesome sounding boards and level headed thinkers I can always go to to get opinions. It's very comforting to know they are only a phone call away!

Susie & Carla
These women are my girls...they have my back and see to it I'm never at a show alone. They've become experts at merchandising and sales and breathe an endless sense of fun into every endeavor! When I have too many plates spinning, get nervous or get in my overwhelm mode, they calm me down, crack a joke and get me through it. Ladies, I say thanks every time I see you but really, you guys ROCK IT OUT!

Vonna
I know God brought this woman into my life at a time when I had so much to learn and so much to be thankful for. She's the definition of light and inspiration, determination and mostly God's glorious love. Regularly, she reminds me how much He loves me and she prays for me consistently. I am blessed to call Vonna my friend and have God to thank for what she and her husband Paul have brought to the table in the way of tax and financial advice. God gave us our talents and knows our limitations, and bookkeeping and tax stuff, as one can imagine, is NOT my forte. Vonna's warm heart and contagious smile are such blessings in my life. Maybe one day you'll even get one of her hugs from Heaven...believe me, you'll want another.
